It's all a matter of how close you get to the "M" value and how well your body handles DCS. Technically we all get DCS, its a matter of what we observe. I dive a very conservative gradient factor (35/70) and use that as my guide to keep me away from M. I watch my surf GF delta5 and other factors...
Its not a matter of memorizing tables. As a shore diver I am not diving square profiles so its all a guessing game with my best estimate winning when thinking back to a table. Still think it would be a great feature to be able to recalculate your dive profile using an updated gas in dive. All...
Crickets from Ikelite.. BUT I did get to try a Panasonic LX100 II in my org 6171.10 case. IT WORKS!
Its a bit tight getting it on the tray due to the thickness but I did not have to force it. There was plenty of room everywhere else. Flash TTL did detect and work without issue with a single...
Will the original 6171.10 Panasonic LX100 housing fit the newer Lx100ii?
I know the lx100 ii is 9mm or so deeper but cant find any details on of the depth between the 6171.10 and the 6171.11.
Will a v2 fit in the old housing that I already own?

Thanks all. This is a lot of good conversation and information. Seems there is no real way but many options and possibilities. Please keep the ideas rolling!! :)
@rjack321 I run a 35/70 GF. I expect on many deeper dives to go into deco and plan for it. I count the deco as a part of my safety...
Interesting that there is no "official" recovery. In hindsight you'd think that a computer should be able to recalc in an emergency or run a dive plan with the data. Shearwater allows a dive plan to be done at depth so wouldn't think to be to hard make available. Could be a safety or cost vs use...
I am an advanced diver but pulled a noob mistake, I usually only use EAN for tech dives or deco. I dive at least weekly and got into a grab and go for rec diving. I'm posting this question as I am sure it has happened but could not find much info on what one should do in water. I figure it may...
Will the Teric's "Floating Compass" be coming to other models like the Perdix AI?
Looking for a new computer and like this feature, but my eyesight is not the best and can not justify the Terics smaller screen.Big is best in my book, more so doing sidemount showing 2 tanks.
Is it on the FW...
I use the SI tech round (Quick Cuff). As was mentioned prior, the included "Antares suck". The Ant's have a tendency to pull and fail with larger gloves\hands from what I read and shop agreed (I have never dove them). I had them replace the Ant for the Round. I also have the SI round on my...
Review.. yes about time I post one :)
Love the suit. Best I have owned. I have owned Hollis, DUI, Posiden, OS and USIA in the past 30ish years.
About me: I am a bigger guy. 6'2" 250lbs and fit tall due to arm length. I am TEC certified and dive side mount in cold water. I find most suits...
Hello everyone. I have a Sea & Sea YS-17 (Olympus UFL-1) strobe. Been doing a lot of reading on the strobe for facts on functionality. I am trying to confirm what I “know” and what I should expect from this strobe being my first. I am well vesting in surface photography. This was bought 2nd hand...

Sounds like bad news from Liquivisons. They no longer list their computers on their web site and have made a few announcements on FB:
Jim Laurel - Do you guys realize that there is NO... | Facebook
"We recently decided to stop producing Liquivision computers because the current line was not...
They are putting out a new model.. maybe just disco on the old? They are also moving as of Jan 1... Would be interesting to know if they are abandoning their old line as I posted on here some time back. http://www.scubaboard.com/community/threads/is-the-lynx-a-dead-product.517955/#post-7639425...
