Would second recommendation for Scuba Nosy Be and suggest also looking at Sakatia Diving and Mengabe Plongee. Be aware that there are some less than stellar operators on Nosy Be (main street Amboatalaka opposite Zebu Burger) would definitely not recommend.

Yes wrong shop. You won't instantly die if you go deeper than 21m and if you are solo in most of Asia the guide/Dm is your buddy unless there is another diver alone. Where do you live - which country - people here can maybe help suggest a better one :) Don't be discouraged, this is not the sort...
