We learned that same lesson. We're fortunate that we were able to rebook at during the original window. We did move up our flight to Bali by one day, but that was relatively painless by comparison. Your plan B is pretty much the same as our plan B.

We are now on the Palau Sport April 6-12 in a Deluxe Suite. We lost one dive day, but save a bunch of money ... and our holiday. We'll post a trip report when we get back to the States.

Hadn't thought about using the TG-6 for video. I have mounted a GoPro Hero11 to the top of my current set up, and have gone that rouute. The video on the Sony RX100 is just not sharp or crisp as the GoPro.

Nice shots! After reading everyones input and feedback, I am leaning towards keeping my setup - Sony RX100, Nauticam housing, YS D2J strobes. Even though it is the original RX100 (Mark I?), it is still going strong.

54, diving for 28 years. Certified in cold Monterey, and now a "warm water wimp". Getting back to at least 2 dive trips/year after Covid. Just came back from a week in the Philippines- 24 dives!

I put my hooded vest under my wetsuit. The one I have is a little lose, and by putting under my wetsuit, it keeps the water exchange to a minimum. Given how light it is - I would bring it on any trip because with 4 dives a day, you are going to get cold, and it doesn't weight much.

Yeah i added a few holes on top to limit head buoyancy 🙂.

We flew back on Delta. The person at the gate did take our paperwork copy and have someone else look at it and that was it. The US CDC page is very clear that this type of tests meets US entry requirements.
