    You are right, my Core is aluminum not steel.....so the wear could be different. I will do my best to remember to post the pictures of the D6i face with protective layer once I get the computer back. I mailed it off to Suunto this afternoon for the warranty work......

    Mares M1 or Suunto Gekko

    I have a friend who has a Gekko and loves it, I am a fan of Suunto and dive with a D6i. Cannot speak to the M1 although Mares does make quality products. just my 2c for you.
