Some of the local dive charters have started going out again looking for teeth and finding some nice ones! Not sure about beach diving. Water has cooled down and not sure how viz is re: beach diving.

Still waiting for power to come back on. Lots of damage around town and things are still being assessed for structural damage and safety. Some businesses have been able to open others it will be a few weeks or longer. Some have been hit harder than others. North Port is still dealing with...

Yes rivers are still flooded and oozing into the Gulf. There are many people “anxious” to go looking for teeth but they are not going anywhere. Gulf has cooled down considerably also.

Sat 9/25/21 9:45 am S. Brohard w/Dkramer winds out of E tide incoming vis 5-8 temp 84 max depth 17 fsw small fish starting to come back after the red tide. box jellies and snot in the water. just diving around the blocks to check things out. found one small tooth, lol

7/17/21 Service Club (looking for the P47) did not find it winds from ENE tide outgoing some swells, no current, no hint of red tide 20 fsw, vis 3 ft lots of jellyfish with 4 foot long tentacles! suit up if you are going out to dive

7/19/20 S. Brohard with Dkramer light swell, slight current water 86 tide incoming vis around 6 ft. in 17 fsw max sorry, no teeth but lots of rope from abandoned crab traps different varieties of fish, and lots of them Buddy let a snapper and another fish out that were trapped inside of a crab trap.
