If you are talking Island Lake conservation are / Orangeville reservoir. I have not but looked up a chart for it and most of it is only 3-5ft deep. there is a 20ft hole on the east end but not sure it is accessible.
There are lots of places to dive but conditions can make most challenging or inaccessible.
You could try the Welland scuba park but it does freeze over as winter progresses like many other sites. Cedar Hill park just east of Wiarton can be good most of the year as well. Just off the old fish...
We have some space available for divers looking to get away.
St. Croix is truly a hidden gem in the Caribbean. Part of the US Virgin Islands, but worlds apart from the usual. Just 35 miles south of St. Thomas, St. John and BVIs it is the largest of the USVIs and also the most dramatic. At 84...

A friend said vis was (10-15ft) at the park. I have always thought the vis is better at the bridge when I dive in that area. Personaly would pick it before the scuba park.
Hello All
I have been working on a google map to aid divers in finding divesites. I would like to think I know them all but that could never happen. Here is a link to the map. If you have a site you would like me to add send me the details...
Looks like you found it west of where I thought it was. While Spencers Dock is no longer there the location is known. I did a couple dives off the docks location and slightly east of it but did not find any signs of wreckage.
Good find...

The first stage would have been used on several models back then. The second stage that has no markings is likely a blizzard or an oasis. they were very similar with a few differences. the Blizzard would have a Teflon coated lever and the intermediate pressure would be around 125psi verses...
Neoprene can easily be repaired. if it was a small fingernail gash and glued with neoprene cement it is as good as new. They would use the same or similar glue to adhere the seal to the suit when it was made.
Never saw an article but here is a link to find CE tested equipment. You can search on the left side by product or manufacturer. You can find any CE certified item here. I recommend you search by product (scuba) and if you do not see it look for more specific item like (buoyancy compensator)

I have done a little research and hope this helps a little.
I do not believe the G-2 decompression software is the same as what was used for the trimix upgrade in the SOL.
The SOL used ZHL-16 ADT DD: it was a 16-compartment adaptive model used by Uwatec for their trimix. it was modified in...
If you are trying to keep the 1st stage balanced but not overbalanced just fill the chamber between the 2 diaphragms with liquid silicone and leave the hydro static balancer out. I believe the overbalancing is caused by the vacuum created on the air in the space. if you fill it with silicone it...
corrosion could form if the regulator has not been rinsed and cleaned properly. I do find many divers think a quick rinse of a regulator is sufficient for cleaning. Most of them spend most of their time diving fresh water, which is not as corrosive as salt water.
A good soaking (I leave my...
