Thanks everyone. My next dive is planned for July 25 with the local dive group - assuming that I can get off work a little early. If not that day, I'll try to get someone on a monday to go with me. I'm excited to be part of the club

It was a great weekend. Everything went well and I found it so very cool. Diving in a pool is one thing but in a lake is so much cooler! There is an old wreck in the lake - between 30 and 50 feet deep - and it was so cool on the first time seeing one of its beams all of a sudden come into view...

I've never had (that I've know) water come out of the ear. It has just felt plugged up for between a couple of hours to a day afterwards. I'm planning on trying different methods to equalize, as well as equalizing more often. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

DivemasterDennis - Thanks! That's really good advice. I'm about to go out on my OW dives next month. I would'nt say I stress about it yet, but I am a little anxious - I guess that is a little normal - like any new thing.
