300ft/min does hurt, Piranha drive train is more efficient than the Blacktip, thats where difference comes from. The belt drive gear reduction gives you that gain. Also note Piranha is 2lbs lighter. There are other ways to get efficiency, but the Piranha was heavily optimized for weight. The...

    New DPV - Dive Xtras

Im a big fan of only taking the scooter you need on a dive. I wont dive a P3, if I only need a P1. For me I would either buy 12's or the waitley 9's . Im waiting for DeXXXlt to release a 15 or 16, so I'm not looking to future proof myself.

Could be. I know the sag with aftermarket 5’s is quite high. You could run at a low speed for a short period and see how many bars you get then to learn more about the sag.

The Blacktip is setup for normal lithium cells, and i would think it unlikely that the Waitley have anything different. My guess would be that by the time you end the dive and open the scooter the batt voltage has recovered sufficiently that the Waitley guage thinks that the batteries has...

The trigger assembly comes apart if you remove the small screw close to the thumb lever area. If there us anything caught in there it should come out easily. If that doesn't fix it give us a call so we can help further.

Congrats, hope you like it. The Milwaukee batteries will not fit unless you find some adapter. We don't support this or do any testing with Milwaukee batteries. As far as I'm aware Milwaukee have done nothing to support shipping or travel, so all the big batteries require hazmat shipping and...

    Homebuilding a Scooter

Yep, scooters with plastic tails are going to have next to no cooling. Also if you stick it up in mid air on a gearbox/ clutch etc, your going to have minimal cooling. You can make it work, but you have to have a larger motor than you might otherwise. That's fine for a lot of manufactures...

    Homebuilding a Scooter

The motor in your picture looks physical big enough to give you reasonable performance. Its tough comparing motor specs, as just like scooters, as they are often over rated. Motor ratings also make assumptions about cooling, so if you have better cooling than the manufacturer assumed , like...
