Ok folks, I was having some fun with my earlier reply... For gen5 Chargers and lights, there is only one way the base will even allow the canister to nest in the charger.

Depending on which battery you get (there are three options) and duration of your dives, you may find yourself charging your battery much less frequently...

Regarding charging, plug in,drop in the base and go...plug and play basically...

Here is a picture taken last night (topside) of the facility for those following this thread. It's coming together, slowly but steady. there is still a TON of work that needs to be done but this shows the final prep for new paint on the walls and epoxy on the floor.
