So this was possibly too good to be true. Got the order today and Walmart sent me.... a collapsible bucket. Now this is possibly just a screw up in the warehouse but I have emailed Walmart and we will see how this plays out. I am not holding my breath though.
Anyone using this light for video? How do you like it? I am looking at model # AL2600XWP with the 120 degree beam angle. I will be shooting still photos 90-95% of the time but I do want the ability to shoot video if/when I want to and this seems like the most reasonable cost for decent lumen...
Thanks for the info. I will go ahead with the S-2000. I was debating the YS-01 too due to the focus light and separate battery compartment but ultimately I want a more compact setup for travel. I will just use it in TTL mode until I get a little more proficient with the new camera.
Another question if you will indulge me Given that I am still a new diver would it be a better idea to go with a TTL only strobe like the YS-03? No manual mode would mean less messing around and more focus on diving fundamentals while still getting half decent photos. The money saved could then...
