    Diving Waldo Lake

From What I've heard from numerous people, this statement is FALSE. Seems as if he had found the site early on in his diving, and since he found it, he named after himself. (alot like a star or something) I mean that's cool and all, but not sure it is really warranted. Seems that the indians had...

Newbie -OWC and Equipment Pls Help

How much is your life worth? Solid gear is a must! You don't necesarily have to spend alot of money, but, you get what you pay for. The extra money you spend on a reg. usually means smoother breathing. Oh, by the way, Flipper was a dolphin on TV. Fins go on your feet. To me $2000.00 does not...

Pacific Northwest Divers, add your favorite dive spots

Waldo Lake in Central Oregon has some of the clearest water in the world. With depths that go beyond the recreational diving limits. Also, the dive is figured as a 6000' dive. With all these factors, Waldo lake is a beautiful and challenging dive.

Right on, as far as the cards go, could really care less. Their like trophies, after awhile they start to clutter things up. The only dif is that some places require the cards. I'm always looking to dive, but buddies with the time are not as easy to find. Someone asked where we dive in Central...

I was looking at the Legend, and my instructor talked me into the Titan LX instead. It's cheaper and works just as well. Unless you have money to spare.I also bought a Black Diamond and love it. But I went with a conv. 2nd air source, The inflator/air source seemed too short to comfortably...

    Recommendations for AOW electives

As far as the courses go, if you decide later to take a specialty course in one of the fields you've already started in AOW. You will already have the first of those classes done. As Alcina said, it is a sampler, where if you try something you like, it credits you for the trial run. Kinda cool...
