    Carnival Valor Mar. 6th

Chuck, Yes they are located in Brick Bay now. Also, I just found out that instead of meeting divers at the dock, you are to go over to a little hut across the street and they will call Subway to come and get you.

    Carnival Valor Mar. 6th

Jerry, Well, I did get to see some pictures of the Valor, including the hot pink/brown dining rooms. I don't know, call me crazy, but I like the change. The Conquest was beautiful and conservative. I like the idea of them challenging the norm and taking a decor risk! I will let you know what...

    Carnival Valor Mar. 6th

We really enjoyed our cruises and really had no complaints. We are going on this one in May. It will be my 3rd cruise with Carnival. I have been on the Valor's sister ship, the Conquest, and it was awesome. We found the food to be really good, even the burgers. Yes the lunch buffet closes at...

    Things you've found under water

My next door neighbor's friend found a woman's body that was weighed down in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. I don't have all of the details, but apparently, they believe that the husband did it.

    Advice on Ambergris Caye

Your pictures are great. What reefs did you dive? Unfortunately, we probably won't have time to go out to Turneffe. We were thinking Hol Chan or Victoria Canyons. Any advice on the sites by San Pedro? Also, how much is it to fly out there? Thanks

    Advice on Ambergris Caye

So Protech would be good? What about Ambergris Divers? We have been looking at them and they seem like they can meet our needs since we are coming in on a cruise ship and all. Anybody have any advice on Ambergris Divers?

Hawaiian Air: Scuba Equipment as Baggage

Hi, I agree with Tim. Don't declare it. I worked for TSA and we always followed TSA guidelines. Not the airlines. Like on the flipside, they might say that something is allowed by their standards, but isn't by ours. We would go by TSA standards. I read another thread that stated that other...

    No Fly List.

Just to add, we should remember that the do not fly list is not only for terrorism, but for other law breakers as well, such as felons, parole violators, people who have caused previous disturbances on aircrafts, etc. I agree that the system used to evaluate travelers could be better enhanced...

    No Fly List.

Just to add, if you are extremely rude, hostile, etc., they can prohibit you from flying. So I would agree to be nice. We are divers. We should always be happy! After all, divers are happier people!!

    No Fly List.

Meteora, FYI, if there is nothing about it that looks suspicious, they won't search it.

    No Fly List.

cowprintrabbit, Just an FYI, there are certain criteria that can warrant a search. At times, TSA will randomly choose people to search, whether they alarm the metal detectors or not. The airline is responsible for most if not all of the full searches (bags, shoes, & wanding). Their ticketing...

Joe, Do you remember the name of the one next door to the Aqua Dives? And does Prodive have a website that you know of? Forgive me for not knowing, but what do you mean 'past the bouy'?

    Regs in checked airline luggage

Woa Jack! You better watch what you say, you might not realize who is listening (or reading)! I used to be one of those 'TSA idiots'. Anyway, you can carry on a regulator and computer, no problem. Just leave your scissors in your checked luggage! Ha! You will definately be searched due to the...
