    How to treat swimmer's ear

Anyone find a suitable sub for Domeboro? Tricare switched me to Bausch&Lomb's solution but that's apparently not made any longer either.

My journey away from lithium-ion lights

I'm looking at the BX2 for a day light. Is that a next-generation BX1 and would you say that is a good day-use light (looking under ledges and pointing out stuff)? Thanks

    Scubapro D400 can't be serviced

Thanks to all you lovely people for advice and offers of help. However, the D-400 has become an organ donor, and the parts will be on the way to kupu this morning. My favorite dive buddy, who doubles as my favorite husband, took me by the hand and said, it's time to let go. He led me, still in...

    Scubapro D400 can't be serviced

Mk 10--also 30 years old and that got serviced just fine. Missed service was in 2014 when my mom was very ill so I had other things on my mind. It has been serviced annually since.

    Scubapro D400 can't be serviced

My diving is quite limited these days but we do get gear serviced every year. I have had my SP D-400 2nd stage for 30 years (well, it was upgraded once) and missed ONE service, so I am on my own. LDS says it needs a part and SP says not made any more. They muttered something about SP only sells...

    CRVO question

I have CRVO, and had read that scuba was not a problem as the fluid in the eye does not compress. But I had been diving last year about a month before the last hemorrhage which was a doozy, and then I read about Terson's Syndrome, which is basically a hemorrhage caused by the pressure created...

    Not just a smaller mask...

Some great ideas here. Thanks. Has anyone tried the Hammerhead MV3? Although it says ultra low volume (or at least one version is), I tried on the GoPro version at my LDS and it just felt really right. But black skirt...ugh.

    Not just a smaller mask...

I've read all the posts about masks for smaller faces, but haven't seen my issue. I have a narrow and small face, so smaller mask for sure. But paradoxically, I am also fluffy, so when I have a reg in, my cheeks break the seal. Also happens when I smile underwater! I bought two small/junior...

    Fried LED

So, yes, I did. I slapped an LED light onto my old UK mini-Q 40 and yes, there was smoke! It was briefly very exciting. Now I know. What I don't know is, can I replace the light (like this UK Mini Q40 Dive Light Replacement Bulb or must I replace the module?

Scuba Dive in the Bahamas? Nassau or Freeport?

Thanks. Still a toss up for which port of call to dive.

Scuba Dive in the Bahamas? Nassau or Freeport?

UNEXSO says they do not provide transportation (but they also asked what hotel I would be in after I said in the subject line and body I would be on the Carnival ship). Carnival says (in a generic-sounding reply) transportation is provided to and from all excursions. Still don't know if that...

Scuba Dive in the Bahamas? Nassau or Freeport?

Can anyone confirm that you still have to get to UNEXSO on your own from Carnival cruise ships in Freeport?

    How you met scuba diving

I was deployed with the military to Panama during the unrest of 1989 (before the dust-up) and my boss, an Army officer, "ordered" me to take a certification class so I could join the scuba group and replace a guy who was leaving. I told him that was not a legal order and he laughed and said, so...

OS Systems dry suit and bits. Size M? $50

No, this is not the one Jacques Cousteau sold at a yard sale, but it's almost that "antique." Bought new in 1989, worn a dozen or so times, married a dive buddy who only dives warm. What can I say? Size M I think. It's too big for me at 5'3" (back in the dark ages they didn't make a lot of gear...

    Scuba Pro's Cool Vu mask

alibi 2 Can you give me the skirt measurements? Side edge to side edge and top edge to bottom edge? I have two LDS here with limited stock and need a mask to fit my small face. Thanks
