    Dive canister for Garmin InReach?

In general this is a pretty cool idea. We used to sell an Epirb in a small waterproof cannister, but I like this idea overall. B

    Shopping for a used compressor.

I would do a google search for breathing air compressor service in your area. They usually have some rebuilt or repaired ones at a decent deal. If you don't have any luck there try Stallion air out of North Carolina. They always take really great care of me and my compressors. Also if...

    Rubber or braided hose?

I have used both. I lean towards rubber now. This is purely my preference but I don't like the way the braided hoses feel on my neck or the noise they make rubbing together. That's sort of a silly reason, but preference is what it is. B

    Vendor in Cozumel

I don't believe there is a zeagle dealer there according to the dealer lookup. I couldn't find a dealer lookup for Bare. Most of the dive shops I have been to in Cozumel don't really carry main lines like this, and are only setup for accessory lines. The Caribbean as a whole does have a...

    Appropriate Bag for Drysuit/Wing/BP/Fins

I really like the XS Scuba drysuit bag. I use it just for my suit though, and carry a separate bag for normal scuba gear. I tried numerous drysuit bags before finding this one. It has a compartment for wet stuff, and also a compartment for your thermals. It keeps them separate. The Stahlsac...

    Do I want a compressor?

Renting out a 4500 to a paintball field is a great idea!

Most Durable / Best Quality Dive Computer

Honestly it happened on my higher end oceanic computers as well, not just the lower end ones. I like the Suunto Eon steel a little better than the Shearwater, but everyone that has tried them likes them both. I have had a couple of odd issues with the transmitter/computer connection with the...

    Do I want a compressor?

I would weigh the aggravation factor of drive time and fill cost versus the aggravation of compressor maintenance. If you are averaging around $300 in fills a year, how long would $300 a year take to pay for a compressor? Now add in upkeep cost such as oil changes, filter changes, and wear of...

Shearwater NERD 2 "for OC Divers"

I kind of want one. I played with a version of it a few years ago mounted on a full face mask and liked it. Honestly even just the compass display was pretty great..... Not sure if I will buy one yet, but I do sort of want one.

Most Durable / Best Quality Dive Computer

I have had good luck with the higher end Suunto and the shearwater computers. Some of the lower end Oceanic computers have pressure/depth sensors that go bad, and can't always be replaced if the computer is discontinued and no longer supported. That's how most of my computers have "failed"...

Zeagle Zena (recommend it or not)

It is a great BC for women, and we haven't had any complaints about it. I wouldn't rely strictly on the size chart though as it doesn't seem accurate for us on sizing in most cases. Your dive shop can also mix and match size components for the perfect fit, but normally we just go "off chart"...

    Transmitter Mounting

You could also put it onto a 90 degree mount, a rigid extension, or a swivel. That's what I did with mine for a bit of clearance from my Atomic first stage. I felt a good bit better with it mounted that way. I used to use a short hose extension for it, but those tend to wear and leak quicker...

    Zip Mount Adaptor for Zena

I haven't tried them myself on the Zena but I just spoke with Zeagle and they advised the standard zip mount adapter will work with the zena without any modifications.

Advice - Atomic Z2 first and second stage saltwater intrustion

I'm not sure I understand what happened exactly. If the first stage was hooked to a tank, and the tank was pressurised it shouldn't be a problem. This is like any other dive. However if the reg wasn't pressurized and went into salt water I would definitely service both the first and second...

It's the end of a 'Long' Run -

DUI has always been one of my favorite companies to do business with. I have several friends that work or worked there. Before my store became a DUI dealer I dove my DUI suit, all while being a dealer for many other drysuit brands. I still chose DUI even when I couldn't sell it. Dive shop...

    OTS Spectrum reviews ?

They do have plans for the rail system similar to the other masks long term, but I expect it to be a LONG time away.

    First computer

I think just ease of use for me overall. There wasn't a clear moment that I decided to go with the Suunto, and I considered keeping all three. I was wearing all three computers for every dive waiting to see which one I liked the best. I ended up just using the steel more. I liked the...

Ocean Reef gDiver vs OTS Guardian

I'm not sure where you are in Virginia, but if you ever dive at the PDRA quarry in Mooresville or local to us you are welcome to meet up with us and dive the OTS Guardian, the OTS Stealth, and an AGA mask to see which you prefer. We are big fans of the stealth/guardian. B
