Are Atomic Regs really worth the money?

Apeks, Zeagle or Poseidon are better choices depending on your needs. Also if you are going to dive cold water the environmental kit for the Atomic consists of loading the first stage with $30 worth of Crystal Lube and attaching a rubber band style membrane around the open port holes. ( not...

    NAUI Scuba class

I know it's a little tough but it is soooo worth it. We see students all the time who have a hard time with that first swim but by the end of the course they are well trained and confident. We reccomend to all our students that they go swiming at least once a week during the course to...

LONG post about a dispute with my LDS

Dear Chris, I have been away from the board for a week or two and read with fascination your story. I help run a dive shop in Canada and like any shop have had "problem customers" in the past (you are not in that catagory by the way) and even the worst of these deserve better treatment...

    Wanting to lengthen my hose

I prefer the 7 foot hose over the 5 as I do penetration diving and it is impossible to do an exit through a restricted space with a buddy in tow if you are going single file and only have a 5 ft. hose. ( unless you are under 4 ft. tall) Storage of the hose can be done in several ways and is...

    Sherwood Avid Snorkle

I got mine at Dive Source and I've been using it for over a year and it stays in my pocket perfectly. :D It's not a great unit for general snorkeling but I hate having a snorkel on when diving so it fits the bill very well.
