I just upgraded from the XCD2 Tech Dry to a Pinnacle Evo2 and found that the Arctic is way too warm under the Bare and a little too warm under the Evo2 for the temp range you have stated. Under the Bare I usually use a pair of Helly Hansen long underwear and fleece lined nylon pants, Underarmor...
Have an XCD2 and it dries in a day or two in my garage when hung up on a 4" poly pipe. But when I want it dry in a couple hours I purchased the fan hanger from UK and my suit is dry in 2-3hrs. Paid $50 for it and haven't looked back. Once dry I loosely roll it up with talc on the latex seals...

That's because SWAT RULES!!!!! It's the same here. I think that both should get equal showing and funding. Granted, SWAT gets utalized more but then why not give more funding for PSD. Very little is knowN up here about PSD as our Provincial Police. O.P.P. have most of the area covered...
I would have to agree with owlbill. Touch type drills are always good to practice. You never know when a light might fail or some one silts the crap out of your dive site or your buddy loses his mask.
Just finished watching GO Deep on History TV. It feature both Butch and Andera from Lifeguard systems and U of Florida UCSI course. Being a certified PSD it was a good show to inform the public as to the job of a PSD and what it takes to be one. Thanks everyone involved for putting together an...
It's great to be able to cross traing with the FD! I especially like it when they have a hot meal waiting for us when we return from an ice recovery!! Just kidding. Cross training is a very valuable resource that I find does not get utilized enough. Keep up the good work and have that 5 alarm...
Would definately recommend the Dive Bus on Curacao. Found the island very safe and only expensive on Cruise ship day. Very relaxed pace. Cozumel was a faster pace and more of a tourist trap if you want to use those words??? Coz is very safe as well. Hope this helps.
I went to my local Home Depot and purchased some pipe wrap, gray one, and placed it over the existing hanger. $2.00 for about 4'. it seems to work and saved me a lot of money. Best of luck!
I dive with a computer and still use a watch as my backup timer incase the computer craps out. Would hate to not be able to time my deco stops if that were the case.
I have the Akona 5/3. I holds up extremely well. I dive mostly in Canada and it provides me with great comfort and insulation between drysuit seasons. I can't say enough good things about Akona. I have rubbed up against many a zebra muscle and not a scratch on the suit!
Stay away from neosport, they tend to rip/tear easily. I have both an AKONA and a Bare and they are great. They hold up to both the warm water and the cold water. Best of luck.
I find that diving with the spandex type short keeps everything packaged nicely in place. Add a little more air and roll onto your back so the air bubble provides some relief. Works for me, give it a try and let me know.
