I've caught lingcod before for fish and chips (in Alaska) and they always have weird, half-digested food, in them. Amazing creatures. And, tasty, I might say.

Went to cove 2 today with DoubleDip and the vis was about 15-18ft., though there were at least 30+ newbies in the water murking up the silt a bit. Great day for a dive. Saw a big Giant Pacific Octo at the HoneyBear (thanks for the tip Bob (Grateful Diver)).

Dread it? No need to do that! I love diving up here. Just gotta keep warm, is all. The marine life is so amazing. On a good vis day, it blows the socks off most of the tropical places I've been.

Oooh. You guys are making me jealous. I really want to dive the Red Sea, but gotta save up the cash first!
