Do they still allowing diving at crater Lake? Has anyone been?

Did anyone dive north of the russian River last weekend? How was it? I am feeling homesick here in Oregon.

Conshelf XIV. I bought my first one in 1980 and a backup/second unit in 1995. I have never had a problem with them.

Jason, an7y well stocked dive shop should be able to provide you with a new shaft, barbed head and powerbands for your spear gun. While at it try changing out the line connecting the spear to the gun. It maybe rotted out and would break under little stress.

If a GPO is 10 ft from tip to tip of its tenticles how long would it be? Is there a ration for length to width? Thanks

As with most lakes there is not alot to see. You may have more fun diving one of the Humboldt Lagoons or Crescent City on a really good day. Also, the south jetty and Triniodad have there good points.

Both are an easy dive with good beach access. I like Trinity due to more spots to access from the shore. Where are you located?

Man I can hardly wait. It has been severla years since I was in my old stomping grounds. I have three days to dive, ab and have fun. I may even get a chance to dive Crescent City or Trinidad on the trip down. Happy weekend and safe diving.

You can dive clear lake, detroit lake, etc. Check out Salem Scubas website. They have several frehwater dives listed. Also, there is an Oregon State Park with a sheltered dive area that connects to the ocean. Woahink Lake south of Florence.

If you go with a one peice you can add a hooded vest for an extra layer if needed.
