i did an extra credit project on diving for physics, and i used mostly pressure, PO2, used some narcosis stuff and how the pressure effects nitrogen/oxygen at depth...you can use stuff on the atmospheres, like for every 33 feet is one atmosphere and you use/absorb double the amount of gas

i got open water certified with my uncle last year, and he is a pretty bad diver...in one dive, he completely missed the platform we were landing on and drifted down to 50 feet in the quarry when we were first to be in 25 feet, hit the inflator button instead of the deflator button at 25 feet...

woww you guys are so lucky, my thanksgiving weekend was soooooooooooooooooooo beat...all weekend all ive done is basketball tryouts, and then after basketball tryouts laze around because we're all too sore to do anything...these are the most intense conditioning drills ive ever done in my life...

if the surface temp is 60 then the temp at the first thermocline will probably be around 56, and at 50 feet it should be around 51...thats what it was when i went in earlly may, and supposedly the warmer is colder in may then now. it really isnt that bad, i didnt even feel the water on me...

whichever shop you dive with, ask to do tortugas reef. its a great dive, it was also my first dive as a certified diver in mexico, and it was relatively shallow, max depth only 60 feet spending most of the dive around 50'. i saw more stuff on that dive then i have in my life including, sharks...

thats pretty scary that you didnt know that you cant dive for five hours, what are they teaching you in that class? i guess the recreational dive planners were left at home?
