    10 Mile Point Pictures

What kind of camera gear are you using here? Is that digital? Did you shine a flashlight to brighten the area your shooting, or were you just near the surface? It seems very bright and I just love the colors.

'Death was everywhere,' a repost from local paper

This is a post from our local paper today. 'Death was everywhere,' says diver who survived Harvey Wallace was scuba diving in Thailand, admiring the tropical fish and huge coral formations when a current grabbed him and nearly slammed him into a vertical reef wall. The Victoria resident...

    Weight harness and water exit

I have a weight harness (vest) and planning to do a boat dive next weekend. The usual action is to hand up the weight belt prior to the BC, then climb into the boat, but with a weight harness this isn't so easy since it requires removing the BC before removing the harness. Do i need to...

    custom dry suits - fit?

The owner of the LDS did my measurments and guaranteed the fit would be right or he would make it right. When I received my custom Whites Aqua Pro the fit was perfect. Just be sure the guy doing the measuring knows what he is doing and will guarantee it. There is no way to prevent the...

Which style of Dry Suit boot system

I used the soft booties during my AOW course. I thought the sock idea was kinda poor for a few reasons. 1) The material on the sock was thin and I didn't feel comfortable walking around in them. Obviously you should avoid doing this anyways, it just seemed silly to always have to mess around...

I'm buying a drysuit, whites aqua pro, I could use some advice please...

Neoprene suits take hours to dry and you weight 2X your normal weight when you get out of the water. This can be horrible if your planning a multi-dive day or have to hike up any hills to get to your car. Also, after a while, they stink real bad as the bacteria grows. They are very heavy suits...

I'm buying a drysuit, whites aqua pro, I could use some advice please...

I purchased the Whites Fleece (pro) when i bought my Aqua Pro. I wear a thin set of skiing thinsulate undies under it and have never felt a chill in the water. Also the fleece keeps any moisture away from my skin if any gets under the suit (not a drop yet with this new suit, but the rental Nexus...

    Whites Catalyst fit question

My buddy and I ordered custom Whites suits. He ordered the Catalyst Quadflex and I went with an Aqua Pro Quadflex (I added a pic of mine to my profile) They took about 4 weeks to arrive which is pretty much what we expected. My suit fits me perfectly. I have lots of motion, but almost no...

Using a Dry Suit for the first Time ... Help

Just get used to the squeeze. It's better than floating off into the sunset.. Whenever you have your legs down your going to get squeezed anyway, and there is no way to get air down there while upright (obviously).
