    Swimming pool recovery

Had a couple over the years but the most memorable one was a murder we located 3 days later in a hot tub. Yup, just what your thinking, 3 days at 103df. Almost impossible to remove. That was a patrol thing and we didn't need the team. ;)

    SS sonar makes another find

We haven't used either one of those units but more expensive doesn't mean better. We have half a million tied up as it is so we need to train as much as possible to make it all worthwhile. If your not good at operating and reading it the units can be useless no matter what the cost.

    Gun Clearing

    Gun Clearing

Place it in the tube, seal it and handle it as an unstable loaded weapon. Make sure the weapon can't change direction in the tube and make sure everyone knows which end is the muzzle end. Trying to unload it underwater may be the last thing you do.

    Surface Pressure Monitor

Ditch-Diver and I can teach you the simple way. See bubbles on surface = air in tank. See no bubbles = no air in tank. See simple.... I have never heard of anything either and even if there was something out there I don't think I'd trust it.

    Becoming a career rescue diver!

Not quite the case. If you have kept up with mine and some of the other posts over the years you may see quite a different scenario. One example is vehicle goes into the lake with a second vehicle witnessing the event. They are in a cell area so they call right then. Dispatch gets the info...
