Mike S once again motivated the SeaYoda to push back all the time consuming cares of the world and just go dive! Mike was down for a visit and I was off on Monday so he called and got us a ride with ScubaTech. I was a little worried about my gear - it had been stored in a shed since we moved...
Take a look at this thread - it about says it all ...

Other than that you could search my old reports - plenty there about issues we have had.
I convinced Larry's (Gulfgulper) son to be my "schlep-it" for the jetty death walk since I have not done it in a about a year and a half. I wore my BC and loaded the sand-yacht with a 19 pony, two AL80's and all that goes with them. No camera and strobe to add extra weight. The poor young fella...
I checked and it looked like there was space. I cleared it out just in case. It was probably rusted from lack of use :D .
I'll PM you my # in case you don't have it. I'll be leaving the house by 08:00 because I have some errands to run. I'll have my phone with me if you need to call.
EDIT...
I hope we don't see any of those brown cigar shaped fish ;)

Larry said as I was leaving the house...
It has been about a year and a half since my last dive - far too long. Life gets busy sometimes and the fun stuff gets put on the back burner. Time to change that! If I can find my dive gear (sold the house and moved since my last dive), and it all works, I will be able to call myself a diver...
Just taking a wild stab at the fish ID:
If it had a couple long "whiskers" near the mouth and some white dots along the side, it may have been a southern hake.
If it had a white stripe between its two eyes and looked a little "cross eyed" it might have been a soapfish.
I didn't see you there with your camera, was it just too cold? :D
I managed not to kill Rob so many times that he couldn't leave the scene under his own power. Do you know what they call the guy who graduates last in his medical class??? ------ DOCTOR. :rofl3:
I missed you in rescue class - you would have loved freezing your butt off (trust me, I would have liked to have ordered warmer weather!). :D
Hang in there with all the ups and downs. Thanks for taking the time to keep those of us who are concerned up to date.
