That's what I own devided equally in two bags for two divers. I have three divers in the family. I may have to break down and get another set for the third.
Our instructor had us sit and ride our BC with tank and all rigged on the surface then slip your arms in slide off the end and right into your bc. Never have used it in real diving or ever seen it done anywhere else.
I'll be driving to Florida in the next two weeks or so to visit my sister in Hernando. That's about 20 miles east of Crystal River. I need to know some of the must do dives in the area and who to dive with. The budget is on the low side also. I live in N/W Iowa and I can't wait any longer. I...
I would get on the boat and tell someone what happened so they can have the Oxygen standing buy and can keep an eye on you. Maybe do a assement to make sure your OK.
I was wondering if anyone here has been diving at the Rodney Pits in Iowa? I have heard of people that have but that's it nothing more. As the price of gas keeps getting higher and higher I'm looking for places closer to home to get wet.
I use the battery powered ones. I have tried the glow sticks only to find that they don't work some times because someone has allready snapped them in the store. I haven't yet figured it out why someone would do that but they do.
Live in N/W Iowa

SSI-Master Diver
6XGrandpa who's grand kids are getting intrested in diving also. What fun it is!
I also have the same problem with my dive watch while using my dry suit. Finaly I just put it on the the retractor with my SPG when I dive. Works just fine for me.
Here where I live in N/W Iowa it's a 2.5 hour drive to West Lake Okoboji. I dive there several times a year till the water starts to turn over and get churned up buy the boating traffic. Then I'll drive 4.5 hours to Lake Francis Case in South Dakota pulling the boat. Get at least two good dives...
Not that I regret anything about diving but how about diving all togeather. Consider all the costs of class and dives for myself to reach Master Diver certification. The OW classes for the wife. The OW classes for the son. And enough equipment for all three to go diving at the same time. Trips...
I'm 55 and still diving. Last fall while doing my check out dives for my Master Diver certification my dive buddy was 80 years old. He is hard to keep up with. He dives with everything he has and often out lasts me. I just hope I'm still going that strong at that age.
I haven't had the need for one yet. I am thinking about getting one or the other for shooting a Bag or SMB. My question is which one is used for what purpose. Is it just what you prefer to use? Is there a reason why you use one over the other? Are there reasons which one to you use and for what...
