I took the plunge and ordered a Deep Blue Juggernaut 1000M automatic dive watch. I understand that these watches are tough and made especially for divers. Does anyone own a Deep Blue watch and how has it worked out?
:):)
Do you dive with an expensive dive watch? Has it ever failed?
I'm wondering if I would be better off with a cheap Casio or Timex for diving. Do people dive with Rolex's and such? As the watch and seals get older, it will fail and a flood will ruin the watch.
My dive watch band broke after many years of great service and the band replacement is almost as much as the watch cost. Anyway, I'm looking at a new watch and really like the Invicta Subaqua's. They are big and heavy and are rated to 500 meters. Does anyone have any comments on these watches...
Hello my fellow divers!
My wife and I are taking a cruise in your area and I would like to get at least one dive in while visiting. We will stop in Hilo, Lanaina, Honolulu and Kaiklua Kona. If given just one dive location to pick from, which would it be and why. Also, it appears the cruise...
I will be returning to one of my favorite dive destinations, Cozumel although, this time it will be in February. What could I expect in the way of temperatures and viz? Do i bring the 3/2 mil full or the 3 mil shorty?
Suggestions??
Thanks

Terrible timing. About two weeks ago I was having numbness and some pain in my right hip. After a week I went to the doctor and she thought perhaps a pinched nerve and gave me some back exercises to do. Several days later a patch of red skin with blisters started on my upper thigh. Back to the...
By a lot of luck, I will be visiting Cozumel in February and was wondering what are the water temperatures in the first half of February? I will need to decide between a 3 MM full or shorty.
Thanks,
Sam
It looks like I'll be taking my family to Cedar Point for a few days in July this year. Amusement parks are not high on my list of favorite places however I noticed a big lake Erie right next door. I'm sure I could get away for part of a day to dive.
In this regard, any suggestions on where...
I was visiting Leisure Pro and noticed this new dive computer by Casio. The SPF100-1V. Has anyone seen one yet? Look interesting and hopefully a less expensive version will be around in the near future...
I have yet to dive at Haigh Quarry near Kankakee, IL. Was thinking about going there next Saturday for a couple of dives.
What type of conditions should I expect? Is it usually crowded on the weekends? Anyone else planning on going?
Joe
My budget on diving equipment has already been spent for this year. However, I would like to make one more purchase. I'm looking for a low price on a cold water wetsuit. Can you recommend one?

Is it normal to be extremly tired after scuba diving?
I keep myself in good shape with plenty of exersise and don't understand why I feel really tired after scuba diving. Especially after a two tank dive, I feel exhausted.
Is this normal?
Thanks,
Joe
Starting to think already about vacation in June 2005 and wanted some ideas or suggestions on where to stay in Florida. I love to dive and was planning on diving at the minimum several days. My wife and three teenage sons do not dive so I need to please them also. We will also visit some family...
Hello all,
I took my classes and confined water dives in November and my certification dives in May at Pearl Lake. I am OW certified.
I took a cruise in middle of June with my family (to bad my wife is afraid of diving) to the western carribean and dove in Jamaica, Grand Cayman and...
Forgive me for asking perhaps this simple question however, I am new to the board and diving and could use the advice of seasoned divers.
I'm planning on diving in the carribean this summer and cannot decide on a wetsuit. Do I get just a skin or a 1mm jumpsuit? Perhaps a 3MM would be wiser...
