I don't often post here on ScubaBoard anymore, but that does not mean that I don't think of Lynne. Her passing still gives me pause. It has now been 4 years and she is still missed.
I had the good fortune to dive with her, and we corresponded several times. I counted her as a friend.
Lynne...
It was about 3 months. My doctor cleared me at 1 month post Chemo. Of course post Chemo means the end of the cycle after the drugs do their work. In my case that point was a month after the administration of the final dose of Chemotherapy Drugs.
My first dives were recreational profiles in...
Lymphoma survivor here.
I don't know what your specific treatment was, in my case it was Chemotherapy. Whatever your treatment was I am sure you were given some pretty serious drugs, and you have indicated that you had surgery. Check with your Oncologist, your Surgeon, also check with DAN. Get...
DON'T USE TOOLS! Fingertips only, and if the things were put together without lubrication be ready for those fingertips to hurt.
If I understand what you are talking about, you are talking about the system where the thick and only slightly flexible rubberized gizmo is glued directly to the...
Trim your fingernails, and be patient. If the rings were put in without the benefit of lubrication they will be extremely tight and hard to get out. Push the wrist seal back into the suit so you can try to remove the ring itself without pulling on the wrist seal at all. When you put them back...
Correct! Orange Grove Sink to Peacock 1 via the Peanut Tunnel.
The depth of 15 feet at 50 minutes is the jump at Challenge Sink. 70 minutes has us around the Peanut Restriction. 95 minutes is where you ascend to the shallow section and the character of the passage changes through the breakdown...
Central Coast does NITROX, so I usually get fills there. I pretty much split small routine purchases between Central Coast and Scuba Shack. For tech specific gear I have a variety of on-line shops that I have relationships with. I do my own regulator, valve, and similar maintenance. For Hydro's...
I see that you are also from the Cincinnati area. Which dive shop is this group that you will be diving with based out of?
I have only been to Falling Rock Quarry once, it was about a month ago.
Many thanks,

As far as the sleeve material is concerned use 2 inch tubular webbing. First place the sleeve material on the flat webbing in the approximate places you will want it to be, to make this easier hold your old webbing side by side with the new stuff and get it close using the bends in the old stuff...
Bob, in your first post you forgot to mention that my low pressure inflator stuck open during the return trip from Challenge. The annoying part was that it would work for a while and then somehow fail at the worst possible times. The problem areas were only about 300 feet from Challenge, and...
Plan the dive to 1.4 or less. Know what depth 1.6 is in case there is a compelling reason to violate the plan. I leave it to you to decide just what "compelling" means.

I'm having some permissions issues on my MacBook. It looks like I will need to reinstall the OS. Unfortunately I am temporarily out of the country and I won't be able to do it for at least 5 more weeks.
Once I am back and fully up and running I will be able to post them on TheDiveMatrix. I...
Yes I did. The PM from Contender above lead to a couple of dives with a really great buddy.
