Thanks for all your suggestions and ideas... I had no idea that EL Paso was that far from water. I like the idea of diving in a spring... never been in one beforre. I did dive in a quarry in Illinois a couple of times. I am going to follow and read all the links you've given me.

Gombessa, No, they are not offering a free bladder, just the service of replacing it. They don't want the "average" consumer to do the replacement on their own. They say it needs a special tool... yeah, I've heard that one before... but I was able to take out the bladder and replace it...

Hi All! Been forever since I logged in. Happy to say I am having a lot of positive results with me changes. I was 245 the day before Christmas. Yesterday morning, I was 218! I can't beleive how much weight I have lost. 40 more to go, to be where I was before I hurt my back... Been doing...

I can dive on Tuesday???... Do Pt. Lobos, not breakwater on Monday. It is an easy dive, way easier than breakwater. There are divers there most every day, so you couls always ask someone to give you nav tips. Heck, even the rangers can give you hints... :)

Gotcha...well... One thing I have learned is that the more you dive, the less tolerant of the temp of the area you dive one becomes. Those of you that have dove in warm waters, think of the DMs... ever notice how most of them wear thick (by our standards) wetsuits for their "warmer" waters...
