You need to go to Nubble Light, in York Maine. It’s only a few miles up route 95 from Newburyport. Great shore dive, good parking, bathrooms and restaurants on sight.

You don't need a 100lb liftbag, a 50lb is fine. It's smaller, more compact and easier to use. I've done quite a bit of scalloping and have never needed more than a 50lb bag. As for a dive reel, use what ever you want. It's used for navigation, so you can find your way back to the boat anchor.

The symptoms you describe sound like that of the Black Widow spider bite. Of course I’m just saying that it sounds that way, from what I’ve read. I’m certainly no doctor.
