    Requirement to do night dives

off a boat it would be the captain's discretion, but shore night dives is up to the person diving, being familiar with the site from day time is a must though... advanced is Recommended if only for the nav skills.

Loose rules in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Nitrox in various blends is easy to get here helium not so much. only a couple shops carry it that i am aware of. most rec divers around here wouldn't have training on it with many being vacation etc.

A quick question about weight...Yes another one, I know

You are changing 2 factors. The tank and bc. what's the buoyancy of the zeagle and your suit? assuming you are neutral at 8lbs. Just the tank change would be 5-6 lbs less lead. the al plate you said is -3 so depending on the zeagle is the remaing delta. if zeagle is neutral itself then you...

Broken Tank Valve + Regulator hose

One thing that was bugging me is the fact that only 1 bungee for all? All the ones I've been on so far have been individual especially since its safer. Out of curiosity were your weights still in the bc? I would consider buying a new valve from dgx if they are so over priced there

Going to Florida in Nov. a few questions.

MIami-Dade and Broward are trying to pass to make minor weed offenses merely fineable -- with still the option of arrest to cut down on the prison time. it is still illegal in florida and i am not condoning the use. if an operator caught you with some on their boat they would immeadiately...

Anyone know the dive conditions of LBTS?

Steve over at Gold Coast Scuba is good for the daily report on LBTS. There are technically 3 spots. Hibiscus, Datura, and the El Prado Park. the park has the most spots.. the other two are limited on parking. Gold Coast also does meetups for the dives too if you don't have a buddy -- the...
