That is a very good way to put it and i agree with you fully in this.

Its only the milling of parts that took some time ans some sewing and glueing, infact i can build it in a few days when i know how to do it. I needed alot of thinking before i got it this far and the thinking made it better than what i envisioned at first. Actually i am building 2 of them.

Well believe me, I studied rebreather designs for years and they can quite easily be categorixed into a few different design features so you could make a generic course for semiclosed and one for fully closed circuit CCR rebreathers.
