Yes, very sad. Although I haven't been diving much this year I have shopped at PG Dive quite a few times over the past few years. Those folks were so helpful and it was such a good shop to go to. I think it must be really hard to have a decent shop in the northeast with such a short season...

Yeh, last I talked to Mark he was doing abalone diving. Now that IS a nice guy, to bring not one ( rather expensive) table for himself, but one for his buddy too! When I dove with him a few times he brought along an extra steel 120 for me to use. Super guy for sure. John C.

Whatever you do, avoid renting a truck with Budget. We stayed a Golden Reef Inn last week and the package came with a Budget rental truck. Budget gave us a truck with old, rotten, bald tires. Of course one of the tires had a flat ( which I had to change,) and then Budget even made us pay...

For shore diving, you may want to consider diving on the north side of the cape first. Nantucket sound and Vineyard sound have some serious currents as well as most diving on the south side of the cape is just sand bottom with little to see unless you get out around the Elizabeth Islands or...
