    Bonaire once-in-a-lifetime vacation

Traditionally I’d say Harbour Village or The Bellafonte as the top places to stay on island.

    Shore diving in Grand Cayman

I usually calculate for about a 10 min swim from the Guardian to the deep wall. As it is all sandy bottom, I therefore recommend staying mid-water to conserve gas and NDL. And just take an easy pace so you don't use too much gas on this 'crossing over'. Saying that there are some great things to...

Remembering Bonaire until we can return

Bonaire East Coast Diving My second to last dive when I was working in Bonaire a few years ago. Got lucky on the east coast. Last dive of my stint there was an ostracod dive... the only night-dive I gladly delay my after dive beer for!

    Divemaster Instructor recommendations

Thanks for clarifying. With that goal in mind (becoming pro / owner) the DM would be a logical first step. Firstly to expand your skills in guiding/teaching, as well as getting your pro status with regards to getting insurance, and knowledge of training agency standards and materials. On...

@Gary_Ward True words... Going to read the Scubanomics article, very curious to read that being a marketer and dive pro.

    Divemaster Instructor recommendations

I'm not aware of your dive history and goals, so apologies if this question is misplaced, but; What would be your goals you want to achieve by getting your DM certification? Reason I'm asking that many people who enquired with me about doing a DM was with the goal of becoming a 'better diver'...

    Looking for exotic dive destination

I'd say Bali would be a good starting point. Culture, shopping, luxury resorts, great food, good diving. Well developed tourist infrastructure so not too adventurous to get around.

    Dive Tokens

Maybe I'm not understanding the question correctly, but every diver on the Kittiwake should have a token. It is generally included in your dive fee and should handed out by the operator to be attached to your BCD. Something like this:

Interactive dive site map of Kokopo, Rabaul and Duke of York islands in PNG

The diving in PNG is at another level compared to Bali, or any other place that I've had the good fortune to visit. The reefs are just pristine, marine life is in abundance. Unfortunately I have not been able to explore more of the inland as I was sailing through the area. But the people I met...

    How's Bonaire doing?

Mi Banana has great basic food, one of my favorites when I lived on the island. At the time I believe Pachi's was closed temporarily due some regulation thing/negotiation going on. It was the talk of the town of course.

That's another icon gone.... are they closing the current location but coming back at the planned Barker's location? Or closing for good?

    Covid-19 and Cayman travel...

Having worked and lived on the beautiful Cayman Islands, I wish the local diving community and my many friends there all the best in these difficult times. I think that as Cayman diving industry it best to stand together and be transparant. Therefore I would suggest to only report actual facts...
