I have a Rix SA6 compressor and an Areo Dri filter... Out of the 3rd stage separator I have a check valve, then hose to Aero Dri, out of the Aero Dri which should be next? Priority Valve (back pressure) then another check valve or vise versa to whip?
Thanks
Recently bought the Sensorcon Carbon Monoxide Inspector for Scuba. Noticed the recal days were 170 when received... Now was running it side by side next to a Kidde home unit in the garage with a car running and got a huge difference in readings! Emailed Sensorcon twice and waiting to see what...
The $699 is for the commercial version! The Mil-Spec version is $1085!!!!
On a lighter note, I was able to purchase just the body and not the whole separator.
The reason for replacement is the inlet side had a 1" crack starting at the fitting. Upon inspection, it seems that the inlet side had been tapped several times as the fitting has left marks on the inner housing.
Rix separator is aluminum not stainless (and $699.00), so I am not worried that...
3rd stage separator is shot, cracked at the inlet, and will not allow it to build up pressure. Going to cost $700 from Rix for a new one... :banghead: :banghead:
