Conshelf XIV 1st stage retaining ring

I'll let @herman correct me here, I'm as imperfect as ever. The press came from Midway and was used for re-sizing cartridge brass. He made the delrin/nylon arbor for it, and a spare one. (have not needed it yet) and the steel busing ring that sets on the 1st stage. Saying it's been used over a...

Conshelf XIV 1st stage retaining ring

Herman @herman made this for me several years ago.....Seems like an eternity now! Made to streamline production time of assembly. I will put the link to the inexpensive tool in the website store so folks can find it. Thank you

    G250 parts question

I put a new C clip in the G250 service kits. I always love reading threads where Robert is playing deep sea parts detective. He is without a doubt the master of it.

    VDH wings in stock!!!

Getting wings from LA to the Ontario area has been challenging to say the least. Shipping cost was showing around $117.00. So it was cheaper to send from LA to FLA and then FLA to Canada. I'm eating the extra cost and getting them out as soon as they arrive.

    Wing availability

If I had a 100% concrete answer I'd post it. Mfg in CA is still struggling with raw materials and secondary assembly parts such as inflators. I'm not going to guess at a date and all I can hope for now is sooner than later. I realize it's not the answer you wanted but it's as honest an answer as...

    Update on Argonaut Wings

04/03/2021..... Wing manufacturer in California is trying to get their business back to a more normal mode of operation despite the challenges they must work around. I had a few wings left in inventory and I have them in the website store ready to ship directly from the Mfg. My hope is to have...

The Kraken is Garbage by Divers Ready

I have always tried to go above and beyond for VDH customers. If there is a problem I do my best to solve it. Inevitably some customers are not going to be happy no matter what you do.....That's just how it goes in business and life in my opinion. I'm not saying this is the case here as I...

    Special on BP/Wing combos. #18 #23 or #35 lift.

When we finally get some sense of normal again, factories start production again, working capitol becomes available again I'll be glad to re-stock every item I'm out of. When that time will come your guess is as good as mine. Living in a state of limbo is a very difficult situation for small...

    Vintage Double Hose Announcement

Due to my primary job responsibilities that will require me to be at work for who knows how many hours and days in a row I'm temporarily shutting down the website store and all other VDH services. Nothing wrong here with me, it's simply a lack of hours in a day to get everything done and squeeze...

    Special on BP/Wing combos. #18 #23 or #35 lift.

Not meant as arbatrary or irrelevant numbers that I threw on paper. The #18 and #23 are close in size. The #18 is the smallest and most streamlined. The #23 only slightly more so. The #35 is obviously larger but still very compact compared to any other wing on the market.

    Special on BP/Wing combos. #18 #23 or #35 lift.

It's difficult to measure exactly inflated or deflated when there is an internal cord trying to keep the wing as small as possible. Next time I have the opportunity I'll check again and make corrections. If my minor miscalculation will cause you distress in your diving profile I apologise...

    Scubapro catalogs added

Added 1974 and 1975 to the list in the Manuals and Catalogs section. Still a lot of holes in the timeline so if you have any years that are missing I'd sure appreciate you sending them my way in PDF form so we can fill it all in. Bryan@vintagedoublehose.com

    Building a reg for travel?

So I can add something to what I have De-railed. Don't live and die by an IP gauge. Establish a norm and check periodically. a few PSI one way or the other is not a big deal. Creep after lockup is a much bigger deal than an initial solid lockup in my opinion. If it's a diaphragm 1st stage...

    Building a reg for travel?

Please keep treating them like rental gear with no love, care or cleaning. When they fail, take them apart and give your opinion and send me the pieces and we can discuss.
