Our 4th annual underwater cleanup is happening in just under two weeks. Here is a video with some highlights from last year's cleanup.
There is still time to sign up if you're in the neighborhood.
The response for tour annual cleanups has been so popular that we have decided to form a nonprofit and have received our 501(c)(3) designation. I am including an ad that is running in the local paper and thought I'd see if anyone else is interested in joining us. To date we've removed 11 tons of...
I am curious about shore diving for meg teeth. I have a buddy who dives from Venice but always takes a charter. Do you have much luck hunting for teeth from shore? I ask because my 13yo daughter and I will be travelling to FL in April over spring break and we may want to add a little beach...
I listed this on ebay already, then a fellow member suggested I put it here. I'm really not sure why I didn't think of this first. My apologies.
What I have is a large package of package of ikelight housing's, domes, handles, trays, etc.
I boughtbthis with a bunch of Scuba gear and have no...
One of many. I try to mix it up from time to time and I haven't worn my three window in a while so I used that one along with several other vintage masks while on vacation in Ohio. Yes, I said Ohio. There were a couple quarries down there that I wanted to hit up and a vintage Scuba swap meet...
Thanks for that link! I did see that as eBay was one of my first searches. There's also a mk25 g600 on there but those were the only two I found.
Mine isn't all shiny though. More of a brushed brass looking finish.
Sounds good, John. I didn't see much on flyaway, so I'll keep researching it. I knew about the US Divers gold plating practice but never heard about Scubapro doing that. Here's to wishing
I was told this regulator was an engineer's sample, or some sort of prototype. I'm wondering if anyone has something like this in their collection? And where they got theirs.
It looks to me like a mark 20 or a mark 25. I'm not familiar enough with the newer regulators.. I myself use a mark 10...
Just to give folks an idea of what we got out of the lake yesterday. I'll make a separate post when I have more time to gather it all.

Our third annual underwater cleanup is this Saturday in Marquette's Lower Harbor. Check out this link for the TV interview. Hope some foriends from the board can make it.
When preparing for our third annual cleanup, I found an old hubcap under one of the docks here in Marquette. The same dock where I found the car doors panels, light etc. Could be from the same vehicle. Here's a short video about our activities.
Marie brings up a good point. There is no source for fills in Marquette. In years past the local FD would fill our tanks but Covid and/or liability stopped that. I will have a few extra tanks but it would be best if you brought your own.
I have been fundraising and am close to purchasing one...
That's Great, Mark!
I'll have snacks and refreshments for the volunteers. All donated from local businesses. Even during the height of Covid, we've had divers come from Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, some have never been to Marquette before. This really is a fun little event and I hope...
With just over a month before our 3rd annual cleanup in Marquette's Lower Harbor, a few of us check out the end of one dock to see what remains. We spotted close to 50 tires and a few cool artifacts, oe of which was pretty cool. At the end of the video you'll see a light post with a warning sign...
