75 feet from shore, close! In Puerto Vallarta, it drops off fast into deeper water. Lots of big stuff close to shore. A good possibility they were splashing around and a bull shark came to investigate.

How difficult is it to adjust the tank holder width? I usually dive HP120s, but friends dive LP95s, al 80s etc. Also, can you have a pony bottle attached to your tank and still use the holders? Thanks

Agreed, I would just sell "As Is". Hydro, VIP, air, etc might run $60. Two most important things IMO are 1) clean your gear, nothing more of a deal breaker price lowerer than filthy gear and 2) price to sell w some haggle room (if you don't want to carry it home).

Crazy read. I've had burst disks give out on a fill whip, and in the trailer- besides the noise, not unmanageable. Easy to get complacent. Very unfortunate incident, but a good reminder of the immense energy stored in a filled scuba tank!
