Enjoyed 2 more great dives this morning. There was a little bump on the water on the way out, nothing of consequence, and I probably got a little sunburn. All in all, was a great day. It did sprinkle for almost 5 minutes.

Two great dives, flat seas, grilled chicken on shore interval, my son is super-stoked, Jungle Divers are wonderful folks and knowledgeable skilled divers.. This tropical depression is terrible. Nobody should be diving. :) Looking forward to our 9am start to another great experience, weather...

Thank you all. I spoke with Alex at Jungle Divers and she was quick to accommodate us. We are doing the twilight/night 2 tanker today. Weather is the nicest I have seen in a week. Winds have turned, pushing some sargassum towards coz today. Off to turn money into bubbles with my oldest child...

Well, I am already here and the gear is already wet. If I can't find a boat that's running, I guess we will shore dive, I will cave dive, or we will play ping pong and drink mojitos.

If you guys hear of an afternoon trip with a good outfit, please let me know. Have fun! Maybe we'll see ya here. We may extend this leg a few days.

Weather right now is great. We did shore entries through small rollers yesterday and last night. I would be comfortable taking a 3 year old or my 88 year old grandmother right now, though it can change quickly.

I moved from Ak to Florida to cave dive (and go to school) 20 something years ago. Ended up spending a few years at the beach. Moved back to Ak to raise children in '06. I should have specified that I am going to be in Florida and need instruction.

My kids are now aware and responsible to begin their underwater adventures. I have grown distant from most recreational diving friends in Florida since moving to Ak many moons ago. I do not wish to burden friends that I stay in contact with to teach an OW class. I no longer teach. So, it is...
