Perfect condition Shearwater Petrel. 2.4" full color high resolution display. Comes with Buhlmann (with GF) and VPM-B deco models installed (VPM-B was unlocked). Hardly used, great computer but just not doing any technical diving these days. $500 + shipping. Duncan.

Plenty of offshore wrecks. Great for spearfishing. Vis typically 10 to 20ft. Doesn't get much over 50-55f on the bottom until later in the summer. Mainly just buddies with boats, no charters to speak of. For this time of year few people have dry suits, or if they do its difficult to find...

Hit up a charter with these guys: Roanoke Island Outfitters And Dive Center - Scuba Diving, Dive Shop, Diving Equipment Only other charter boats in the area are two 6 packs that run out of Hatteras (Under Pressure & Lions Paw), but they tend to dive deeper spots (>90ft).

Went 30 miles offshore of Virginia Beach this last Sunday and dove on a wreck site in 100ft+. Vis was 3 feet at best, temperature was 55F. Think all this rain and wind has messed things up. We went straight back to the boat and headed home. Trying for better conditions at the end of this...
