I struggled with my Atom 2.0 until I ran across this diagram.

Just got back from AC you definitely can do both at Hol Chan in fact we did our surface interval on a buoy among the snorkelers, Hol Chan wall and Pillar Canyon are the two we dove right off the HC shallows. One thing to consider is the non divers will have to sit on the boat while you dive...
My Family just got back from a trip to AC and dove with Island Divers. We had the best of both worlds I met another couple on the SB that wanted to do an extended trip and Rudy organized an overnight trip to Lighthouse reef for us. We ran through Turneffe and dove on Vicenda and Cockroach walls...
I'd say play it safe and plan something else the last day we are headed to San Pedro next week and intentionally decided to book an inland tour the last day and will be going to shore by boat.
Looking foward to our overnight trip to Lighthouse and Turneffe with Island Divers hope the weather holds.
I realize these can still be found at many of the UW stores online, but in searching for a second YS-110a I spoke with Adorama customer service that are out of supply and also mentioned Sea & Sea only has one left in stock. They also commented that the product is discontinued. Has anyone else...
Been trying to locate a second YS-110a I spoke with Adorama customer service that is out of stock and said Sea & Sea US only has one left in stock and the product is discontinued. Is this true? Surprised that it would go end of life without a new model.
Thanks
What do you think of the "full american breakfast" at Sunbreeze Suites for $10 pp? seems that most dive ops have food onboard including breakfast just not sure it's enough to sustain you for diving.
Thanks everyone I did register and go thought the course it is fantastic! Definitely got me over the learning curve It even helped me understand the general principles better and with SCUBASalior's Diagram I find the Atom 2.0 easier to use, too bad it's not easier to see uw ;)...
I just purchased a VT 4 from my LDS and noticed that there is a vertical line on the bottom section of the display. I don't recall seeing it at the shop and it is still present when powered off just wondering if this is normal? Computer has never been on any dives, dropped or wet. Doesn't look...
Just was reading this thread it's a year later and still no class on the learning site Dive Computer Training
Did the plans change or is it as hard to write a class for the Atom 2.0 as it is to use it?
If I went through the Geo 2.0 training aside from the AI is it close enough to be a good...
Thanks Just sent a note off to Rudy at I.D. to see what they can offer. I did get a reply from Shiana at Amigos Del Mar she gave me a quote of $550 pp for 4 days local, 1 night and one 3 tank to Turneffe she didn't like adding Turneffe as most divers want to go B.H. so they wont go if boat isn't...
Don't mean to take over this thread but have the same question and we may be there the same time as peacock62.
Just booked 11/19-26 on Ambergris Caye staying at the Sunbreeze suites they offer packages with Hugh Parkey’s (who they purchased in 2010) but not much mention of them on the SB...
Wonder if it's possible to remove the wrist mount from a VT4 in order to put on a Deep Sea Supply bungie mount?
https://www.deepseasupply.com/index.php?product=1334
I wrote to DSS but they have not tried to fit a VT4 yet, they suggested I send them photos with the mount removed.
Looks hard...
Yes I can confirm the old transmitters work with the new VT4. I have an Atom 2 with a separate Bud transmitter. I was able to add it to the VT4 and the thing that amaizes me the most is I did it with out reading the manual! Try that with the Atom 2.
