There is plenty of good diving around the panhandle of Florida. Jacksonville not so much. Try the dive locker in Panama city,always had great dives there,the jetty's at Saint Andrews state park is a great shore dive,be sure to be there at or right before high tide.

Amoray was nice,our rooms were 50-75 feet from dive boat docks. We dove the reefs which are 20-30 feet deep which is perfect for new divers or old divers,I am ready to go back there again. There is a pool on the grounds with a bbq grills on non diving days or after diving,we also snorkled off...

Update I just got a quote for 100 per hydro,then they told me 150 per tank for hydro and vis,I told them I was good,then I asked how much a al 80 cost-190.00 dollars. I called another shop near me they were a bargain at 65 per tank,think I will go with them even though they put the wrong valve...

Either side of Buford dam,Westbank on the Cumming side,forgot the name of the park on the east side. They have the best visibility on the lake I have found over the years,usually 10-15 ft of vis. Plan on minimum of a 5mm wetsuit with a hood and gloves.

My personal favorite,very easy to service. Great breathers,pretty much bullet proof.

I say buy a computer,learn to use it and do some diving.

I keep mine filled to 3000,a good happy medium without pushing it.

I stayed there a few years ago and plan on going back soon. The dive boat was about 100 ft from the door to our room,the rooms were dated but clean and they had a nice pool with a grill.
