Question Only Instructor wears dive computer (extra charge if I want one)

I must admit to enjoying learning to use the tables (when I was young, and dinosaurs roamed the earth). I liked the graphical nature of it… if you go to this depth, and stay there for that time, you have to stay at the surface for this long to clear the nitrogen…. Etc. I liked the up/down nature...

    Blue Heron Bridge Trolls III

Cool dive results. Apropos of almost nothing, my favourite taxonomic nomenclature oddity is the Western Lowland Gorilla, who’s full scientific nomenclature is… Gorilla, Gorilla, Gorilla. https://ielc.libguides.com/sdzg/factsheets/westernlowlandgorilla/taxonomy

    Question Skipping AOW

That’s why I’ve screenshotted the screens from my NAUI and PADI apps, and placed them in my camera app under a Favourites banner.

My dive computer is too conservative, what can I do ?

I’ve found that my Zoop (and Vyper before that) were fine unless I was doing multiple days a day over a string of days. If I did three or four dives a day by about the fourth day the Sunnto units were noticeably reducing my NDL times. If I did the same pattern, then skipped two days things...

Why not attach spool to DSMB before the dive?

Hi Dan, what's it made from, if you don't mind me asking? I'm looking at doing something similar, and would like to hear how you did it, and what materials you used.

    Aches and pains...?

If I haven't been in the water for more than a month, my neck tends to be a bit sore after the first dive, as I tend not to wander around looking straight up on dry land. ;-) I expect you'll be fine.

Enriched Air Nitrox Certification - Why such variance in cost?

And it's the worst eLearning experience I've had in 30 years. And I'm in the business, so I see a lot of crap.

Diving in Sydney area, Mid/Late March - Suggestions?

I love it... the 42 in my handle is not an accident, but it is highly probable.

Diving in Sydney area, Mid/Late March - Suggestions?

Thanks to you both, I appreciate the tips. I'll be following up on these over the next couple of days. @bowlofpetunias, I'm sorry to hear about the medically required dive break. I hope it gets sorted soon, and you can get back into the water. Also, I presume your handle is a Douglas Adams (I...

Diving in Sydney area, Mid/Late March - Suggestions?

Well, the title just about says it all. I'll be in the Sydney area mid March and am looking to get some diving in. I'll be bringing some of my own kit (but no tanks). I was hoping my schedule would allow me to do some diving on the GBR, but unless there's a cheap and easy way to get from the...

It looks like my DC2000 died on the weekend.

And as a follow up, I've received a FedEx note that my camera will be back on Friday. I don't know if it will be repaired or a swap, but, whichever, that's excellent service!
