$3 and $7 here... Have two tanks setup for air for shallow springs and 4 setup for nitrox when out in the ocean. Could do all six nitrox and probably will on the next visual. Cost for air/nitrox fills is negligible here.

This... The day we dove with them (we were not there wiht a cruise) our trip was running late on the last dive. Stuarts sent out a fast boat to the dive boat and grabbed everyone going back to the cruise ship to get them back on time. I'm sure they deal with scheduling around cruise arrivals...

As others have said, find another shop. My shop had no issues doing visual/eddy current testing on my 2 1987 AL tanks a few months ago. I ran into another shop that was closing up a few weeks ago and asked him what his fill costs were and if he cared about thsoe tanks. He said he wouldn't...

I have done Key Largo and Nassau... Don't know how much difference between Key Largo and Key West, but between those two I would pick Nassau far above the other.

Of course. The first thing we did as take them to the dive shop and get them hydro and vis tested. Two were late 80's and one was a early 90's AL luxfers. All of them well past their hydro dates. I was worried about the 80's luxfers from what I read abotu them on the internet and some places not...

Local dive shop charges me 3 dollars a fill for air. I think he charges something like 7-8 for nitrox, but I haven't gone that route yet.

I just had a Uncle that had three tanks he hadn't used for 10+ years. He said, "Take them. Just bring them back if you ever get done wiht them." Then my wife got another tank given to her by someone she did a good job at finding their kids a house.

Last August we were taught how to use dive tables. We spent about 2-3 hours on them and reviewed the next night. There were also 10+ questions to wokr out on the test using the dive tables. Our instructor called the dive table class, "Dive Computer Appreciation Class". :D

The wife's and I discover dive consisted of 30-45 min going over book stuff... Always breathe, don't dive if you have sinus issues, what happens pressure-wise to your internal air cavities, etc... Afterwards we got in a pool for a bit to get used to breathing underwater and practice a few...

Had to do it Friday. Couldn't do during the weekend as we could not get a babysitter. A day off from work and day care being the babysitter works. Was very nice. Will definately go back again sometime. Make sure he/they have the underwater lights on and compressor for the dive bell running...

Trying to talk the wife into going this Sat. or Sun. to Blue Grotto or Devil's Den (leaning more towards Blue Grotto). We have never been and want to check it out.
