I agree. I dove it a couple times last year and there is still a lot to see. I'm just trying to learn how to guess at the best conditions before driving almost an hour down there. Tess - thanks for the surf link. I hadn't seen that before. Looks like today or tomorrow would have been better...

OK - wanting opinions from other locals. In my very limited experience it seems the Whiskey is best to dive first thing in the morning when the water is most likely to be calmer. This saturday high tide at Pickens is 7:42 and Ft. Morgan is 8:51 so I'm guessing the Whiskey would be sometime...

I looked at Atomics website and their size chart put him right in the middle of a Large so yeah unfortunately I think they would be too big.

Any idea what you'd want for it and when you're getting a new one? I'm not in a huge hurry for a computer - maybe you could bring them both next time your over here??

It really was good viz for the Whiskey. I'd guess about 20' up till the last 10 minutes of our dive then it started going downhill pretty quick. Having dove it 2 weeks earlier with Paul and viz at 1-2' this was such a bonus! There was also very little current so we weren't getting slammed...
