Boats will come out of the water for a hurricane and Grace is now predicted to be a CAT 2 when it nears the Yucatan. We were there last year for a CAT 1 and got evacuated from Cozumel Palace to Playacar Palace. Everyone stay safe!

Enjoy hanging at the pool and being pampered by the staff at Cozumel Palace. If my wife is in the spa when the boat returns one of the wait staff greets us with cervazes at the dock. After a few appetizers and lunch we go for a walk into town then spend more time at the pool until dinner.

I have used Aqua Safari from Cozumel Palace before, they're fine but as already stated large slow boats, usually with 18 to 20 divers in the group. If you're going during high season, it would be good to contact the resort and book your divers before arriving, I've seen people not being able to...

I know Blue Angel has as lot of fans but Casa Mexicana is nicer (excluding the pool), better beds, a great breakfast, and in town. My .02 worth.

Plus one for Casa Mexicana and Tres Pelicanos, did that last October and it was great! We wanted to be close to restaurants and didn't want the hassle of taking a taxi to/from marina. Congratulations on your retirement.
