    Argos dive centre are based in the harbour at Mecidiye, on the north side of Saros bay. They were, in my experience, very friendly helpful people.     I live in Bulgaria. I have not done nearly as much diving here as I want to, but in my limited experience of the Black Sea, the northern end of the coast (Varna and above) is better than the south near Burgas.

    I also dived with Saros Dive Centre. They were great but a little sketchy on giving directions until I was already at Gallipolli town, which was the wrong place to find them. They are based on the north side of the bay, about a 60km drive back the way I'd come from.
