The U/W park @ Casino Point in Avalon might be good for your son. Dive boats here are mainly an all day affair. If things don't go well at the Point, there's always mini-golf or other things in Avalon.

I don't know about underarm laser treatments, but a male friend of mine was looking into having his back done (don't ask.) Anyway, he told me that this is not a one-shot deal, either... it's a series of treatments over time. It works best on light skin/dark hair.

You can't anchor or use the moorings, but see if you can't get someone to take you over there and live boat it. Oh, and no fishing... Isthmus reef is also good, but I won't do it until traffic/partying dies down.
