Very well said. Its not reasonable to expect a begining or novice diver to be able to evaluate conditions soley on his/her observations. Local knoledge and its acuracy are key.
Just knowing that this operator continued diving days after one of their diver was missing says it all. That boat should have been searching for the missing diver.
Sam your a really annoying dude. Here is a news flash for you. You dont own the sport of scuba diving. You may know a lot, but you dont know it all.
You have said three times in this thread that you asked for your letter not to be published but it was. What your really trying to convey is...
I zip my weights in on every dive i do... I use a zeagle BC, where you zip the weight into a pocket if you need to release you pull a line and they drop out...
Im just curious is that legal to feed the fish in the park? If so is it ethical?
Not challenging the legality or ethics of fish feeding Im just curious.
Looks like fun.

I was thinking the same thing.... I would rather stay home than go on a cruise but somehow I find myself searching the web to find this cruiseships web site... If Leejd does not want to work for this cruise company she could always sell ice to the eskimos.
I dont know you but I highly recomend the Cayman Islands. Not Cheap but really really nice. Thats where my wife and I honeymooned 6 years ago. On our 2nd day of the trip we decided we were going to go back for our ten year reunion. We both got certified there. She hated it but thats where I...
Of course the crab is more visable today.... he is getting to know you!

I have no idea how you get that clarity... The only thing I can think of is you put a large pot of coffee next to your computer and you photoshop out all the back scatter and particles in the water.
THE LESSONS
We don't seem to know what happened, so it is hard to draw any definitive conclusions. Whether it was a heart attack, equipment failure, CNS toxicity from going too deep, or something else, one can only speculate. If the diver was negatively buoyant and on the wall, it is...
I know nothing about rebreathers... Just curious is there an alternate air source? I dont see one on the girl. I see an intergrated inflator but no hose connected.
Just curious.
