I've tried soft scrub and tooth paste on my mask and the only thing that worked was the 500psi mask scrub...after that I just use baby shampoo $1 and I have no fogging problems. Maybe it had to do with the low volume and clear lenses, but It was a pain having 90ft viz and your mask fogged up.

Don't own scubapro but I heard they are very good; I do have the Oceanic CDX-5 DVT Neo and my Gf has the Cressi MC-5 ellipse steel....both are very good regs. ease of breathing and great build quality on both....so you can't go wrong with either of the 3 brands.

Check the weather constantly...there may be some swells, there may be flat seas... after September just check the oceans conditions. your going to have fun here! the east coast is great for diving as well as the west and southwest.

Well I have the atomic splits in reef red ("the supposedly "high energy compound") and I like them, actually I sold my cressi reaction which were good for these...I don't know if the material difference between the 2 types of fin(standard or "high energy") really makes a difference...

No, the Pioneer is a wide mask is just that it didn't feel right, I noticed that the skirt of the pioneer is a bit bigger than the subframe but not wider or at least not that much, but wider than the frameless indeed.

Finally the Atomic subframe was wide enough for my face...the frameless was a bit small on the sides and leak during the dive although it felt great in the shop, the oceanic pioneer didn't even fit well in shop and the shadow didn't feel that great either....I learned the hard way that a nice...

update...the atomic frameless did leak a bit so I went with the Atomic subframe to see how it goes. finger cross:confused:
