Laurel is not 28...she's a grandmother. A young grandmother, but defintely not 28. Her son posted on FB that they have called the search. It's is impossible to believe such a bright and shining star is gone.

Saw this on Facebook this morning, so sad! Jerry was truly one of a kind and I loved diving with him. You always learned something new!

To be clear, I am not second guessing Peter or anyone. I was just asking if a search was done and possibly understand the timeline as things occurred.

I'm not suggesting that no one scan the surface, that would be silly. The Coast guard was on hand in 10 minutes, they had the surface covered. I disagree that there shouldn't be urgency to find someone whether they are alive or dead. Both are important. If that was my loved one, I would want...

I understand that it would be difficult now, but I was actually asking about that day. Since it was particularly flat and there were other divers on the boat. My gut reaction would be, let's go find her!!

Was any kind of underwater search done for Lynne? I know Peter said that the Coast Guard didn't search underwater, but did anyone else?

Thank you, that was what I was afraid of. I usually try to research ahead of time to make sure I can find her something special and saw many google entries about fraud. Good to know there are a couple that sell reputable items. Hopefully, I can still find her something.

I've been to both of these resorts and they are fantastic. Dumaguete is my favourite! The caribbean is very hard to go back to after the PI.

LOL.... Actually we're staying at Hotel Cozumel. Just need to find an op. Does anyone offer packages just for diving? I noticed on a few websites that I've looked at that all they list is per dive pricing. I find that odd.
