Close call in the dressing room

...dry suit everywhere?.. Not sure if if you would be OK to dry dive at water temperature being +30C (86F) and air temperature of around 45C (113F)

Does Z2 breathe wet when inverted?

Thank you halocline! I thought exactly as much! I am not an expert on equipment but I listen carefully when my instructors speak. I remember them saying that if you are upside down be ready to wet breathe or to 'drink' some water. Therefore I always try to avoid this position during my dives. In...

Does Z2 breathe wet when inverted?

Would it also breath dry if put vertically? I mean to say if you stay upside-down with your legs up and your head down like on 90 degrees line for let's say 5 minutes? I got into an argument with a buddy-diver the other day who says that all the regulators breath dry no mater what their...

    Blue Hole GHOST!?

Here are a couple of pictures of our old "ghost" houses. The tower (tower.jpg) was evacuated because of the unsuitable technical conditions of the architectural structure. Nobody lives there for about 20 years now but the house is still standing there almost right in the middle of our town. The...

    Blue Hole GHOST!?

You might as well want to take a look at our bottom exploring dive's pictures found right here. www.klaipedaville.com/ginduliai/ginduliai.php It was a test-dive to check if this lake could be suitable for "discover scuba diving" or OW courses. :-) "Ginduliai" is the name of the place within the...

    Blue Hole GHOST!?

Thanks for checking it out for me. I appreciate. Does my video play OK in the same Firefox and Explorer browsers? By the way which versions are they?(found in -help-about-). It sounds like your Google Chrome copy has the Adobe flash player plug in installed and all the other browsers you check...

    Blue Hole GHOST!?

Well, Klaipeda was the one the most famous USSR resorts once. We still have many health resorts which popularity also runs back into Sovet times, all of these resorts are now privatized or nationalized all over the country. The sea-port of Klaipeda (my present whereabouts) is the one of the rare...

    Blue Hole GHOST!?

The pictures are simply breathtaking!.. Don't know why but I just love it, every single bit of information you posted here is amazing. Thanks! If I were an Amercian I would become your country's historian. It's so interesting to read through the stories that are hidden in the dust of centuries...

    Blue Hole GHOST!?

You are lucky to live there to be able to go / drive take a look at it for yourself. But then again it is only interesting for those who are interested in these sort of things. I don't think that kids would love the panorama of some ruins and some old weary residues of houses and ancient...

    Blue Hole GHOST!?

Sorry guys if it's getting a little side-tracked but it's not hijacking the thread is it? I believe ghosts under water and ghost towns have something in common. :) It looks like we share the passion not only for scuba diving but also for American ghost towns, ruins of old times, history...

    Blue Hole GHOST!?

Old western US standards and regular small towns of that time have always seemed to me so calm and quiet with its hastleless peaceful and serene lives slowly "frying" by in the hot sun of the US South... as if something of another planet and perhaps something to be jealous for people from huge...

    Blue Hole GHOST!?

That's the best (coolest, spookiest, etc.) side effect of depth narcosis / oxygen toxication / water pressure intolerance I've ever heard. :D Power of imagination is a great force.

What do you expect from other Divers?

Agreed. Crashing is the most irritating part for me, that's practically an emergency... It's the first sign that more serious trouble are to come soon... been there done that. On the other hand can it ever get overcrowded? Not sure if there is a class taught on "how to dive when there are too...

    Oceanic EOS Swivel Reg

Yes, it will work. The new swivel comes at about US$ 30 in our local dive shop including installation. There is no need to change any hoses, the standard ones perfectly fit. I mean if the models and makes are all Oceanic.

    Oceanic EOS Swivel Reg

I know the feeling. :D I guess quite a number of divers (if not all) come to some point in time when they want to have it all perfectly adjusted, fit, fixed, streamlined and so on, especially when you own your gear and it's not rental any more. :glad: You were saying that some hoses go across...

    7' Hose Questions (not routing)

Hmmm... I just thought that if you have your octo on a necklace that allows you to access it even without using your hands then I assume you have it configured from your right hand side that is for you to use (not for your buddy). You would have to twist it around to give it to your dive buddy...

    7' Hose Questions (not routing)

Thank you for your comments, Cave Diver. I appreciate. Yes, I can easily get to it to stop it if it starts to free flow. I can also detach it even with my eyes closed and put it back to its initial place within just one second. ;) I would at least need the length of my forearm to dig my octo...
