I bought a Flathead VI reg from another diver and recently took it in to be serviced. The hex socket is stripped on the 1st stage so it can’t be broken down. Can the manufacturer do something about this? I’ve really enjoyed this reg and would hate to need to replace it.
I was wondering how this was. I had been thinking of signing up for it but didn't want to get stuck with an overpriced meal with a cheesy, touristy setting.
I’m going to Cozumel at the end of July with a group of non divers. None have been there before and I wanted to give them some ideas of what to do. I was thinking a sunset cruise might be nice. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I'll be traveling from Houston. Are there any other options to get to Roatán besides flights into RTB, something similar to the bag drag from Cancun to Cozumel?
What is the earliest you can safely make a flight out of Cancun? What's the latest arrival time in Cancun you can typically have and still catch the ferry to Cozumel?
I am currently researching flights and I'm finding a $230/person price difference between flying into Cancun and Cozumel. At what point does it become cost effective to make this flight?
I have a friend who's daughter is taking Spanish in college. They were thinking of spending the summer somewhere to improve their fluency and I thought of Cozumel. Does anyone know of some inexpensive long term rentals? Either efficiency apartments or budget hotels/hostels would work fine.
Sorry, we won't be able to make it. This trip is before school lets out. With it being Hannah's Senior year, there will be a lot going on during the Spring semester. :(
ETA: I just checked the school calendar and the Prom is May 3rd so that is most definitely a "Negative Ghostrider" for this...
I'm a fairly new diver and most of my diving has been guided. I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be on the advanced dive sites. I don't want to hinder your dive experience. What typically is making these expert dive sites?
I'm looking for another couple to share a truck with. My daughter and I will be there and I'd like to find someone the would like to split the cost of a truck and be able to shore dive together. If someone already has a truck and would like to do this, let me know.
Not sure if mentioned elsewhere, but I really enjoy doing shore dives at Hotel Cozumel. You can't beat the price and you can see a lot of small creatures. I didn't get the chance to do a night shore dives, but I heard from several that it was money well spent.
